I am a female with epilepsy, too, and I always used to have cluster seizures around that time of the month before I had epilepsy surgery. Basically, when you're on your period, your brain releases a lot of estrogen and other super awesome hormones that aren't usually released during non-period days. For us super lucky ones, our brains can't handle the overload of hormones, so it reacts by having a seizure. At least that's what my neurologist told me. Oh, and if you're ever in the market for getting birth control, don't get pills or anything that contains hormones. Go with condoms or an IUD or something non-hormonal, just sayin'.

The endocrine system is in high gear then. Maybe your seizures are related to higher levels of female hormones.
Better get that MRI during your period and another not to tell the difference in your brain. That only makes sense.

I might be able to help since I've had epilepsy for 30 years, but not sure what you mean by "your girl thing"
