My cat has wet ears any treatments you would suggest?

Update:

Inside her ear canal looks wet and when she shakes her head there is a slapping sound, lot of scratching going on too

    Sounds like an infection of some sort,she may have had a grass seed in it or build up of wax that has got infected i wouldn't suggest poking any ear buds in as you don't know whats in there,as you would risk pushing whats there further in so all i can suggest is a vet check,

    but it does sound like an infection as symptoms are head shaking with slapping sounds,oozing and scratching as infection causes itching,not sure if you have noticed if the ears smell too they usually do,a vet can prescribe correct drops for her problem.

    This sounds like ear mites with additional infection. One of my cats had ear mites even though indoors and it took a very long time to treat it. I started with over the counter meds for the mites. It didn't work. The vet treated her with ear mite drops and antibiotics for infection. When that didn't clear it up entirely, the vet then added the Advantage Multi for cats that finally got rid of them. Please take her to the vet. She is miserable.
