When does life begin?

Actually, we are spiritual souls but we are in human body.. we are from spiritual world. God has sent us on the earth...only for self realization.. as our souls are not as pure as, they have to be... So God has given us human life where our body feels happiness as well as suffers pain. Therefore, we souls are here... to achieve... the level of purity..... To become pure soul.... we should make an effort to understand the deeper meaning of unconditional love for all living beings.... in every situation....

When does life begin?

For all the 'conception' folks, is a living lump of tissue, like a wart that has just been cut off considered, by you, to be 'life'?

Any living tissue?

Because the zygote (look it up) is no more than a lump of living tissue until it can be sustained independently from the mother!

Far from conception!

A separate life form is started at conception, but it's created from already living material, so it's not life starting per se.

At conception, when the sperm and egg combine to make a complete set of 26(?) chromsomes.

To answer that question you would first have to know when life ends, but more in depth what is life? What is death? Life could be non physical and begin before conception, depends on how you define life and death, and maybe death is not post life maybe it is before and after.

Life really begins when you find an aim to fulfil.

For me, and everyone I know, life began about 3.6-4 billion years ago.

It's just being going ever since.
