HOWEVER, I prefer that those kids come to this forum and get answers from people who reasonably know what they're talking about (even if merely linking to 2012hoax.org) than going elsewhere and getting uninformed and, maybe, downright malicious answers that worsens the problem.

Don't worry about it, by 2013 those kids will have forgot that the world was supposed to end in 2012, and they'll start worrying about other hoaxes.
