To you, has Mark Henry done enough to make his inception to The Streak at Wrestlemania 22 worthwhile? Why?

As we knew it, he was handpicked by Vince over Kurt Angle to face Taker at Wrestlemania 22 after Taker pitched the idea of Angle ending The Streak and the match turned out to be a huge upset for everyone involved (u know the story, I'm tired of retelling it).

But as of now, many fans especially in IWC view Henry in a different light than they did in 2006 due to obvious reasons.

My question is, to u, has Mark Henry acquired enough legacy to make his inception to The Streak at Wrestlemania 22 worth the sacrifice of leaving out Kurt Angle?

I mean, The Streak obviously has two tier names:

Top Tier = Jimmy Snuka, Jake Roberts, Kevin Nash, Sid, Kane, Triple H, Ric Flair, Big Show, Randy Orton, Batista, Edge, and Shawn Michaels.

Bottom Tier = Giant Gonzales, A-Train, King Kong Bundy, Mark Henry and Big Boss Man.

So, to make it short, has Mark Henry done enough to move himself to the top tier from the bottom tier?

    Honestly, no.

Mark Henry has faced Undertaker at WM which is a credit and achievement in itself, but ask a lot of fans today and some don't even remember that match or that Mark Henry faced Undertaker ever at WM. Mark Henry is nothing really that special in my opinion. He's achieved things here and there, yes he's a power house, he's a strong guy and he's somewhat funny at times, but he's not a special wrestler like others that have faced Taker at WM. Opponents such as Shawn Michaels will be remembered even for the match against Undertaker. In 20, 30, 40, 50 years time, fans will surely still talk about Shawn Michaels as an individual and about his Wrestlemania matches, 2 being with the Undertaker.. In 20 years time, I don't even think anyone will be discussing Mark Henry or anything about the guy. Mark Henry's match at WM with Taker is very much bottom tier, just like he is himself.

The only thing Mark Henry is good for is banging 80 year old women and having Vince take care of his kids. It's not even worth anyone getting upset over pushing Henry, because Vince will always do that. He pushed the Great Khali, Big Daddy V, Ezekiel Jackson and Lord Tensai among other talentless big men because dominance to him is his idea of great wrestling. Considering that the Edge vs. Foley match was one of the better matches of the night, Vince should of did Foley vs. Undertaker at WM 22. For me, Edge could then have went against Angle or Shawn Michaels who was in a pointless match with Vince Mcmahon. Henry will never be a top tier talent, he is slow, boring, and should do everyone a big favor and just retire and get a job where he eats pizza all day.

Yes, Mark Henry had earned my respect now.

Sure, he's a horrible wrestler, but he had dedicated 15 years of his life to WWE. And yeah, he's bad in the ring, but he played his role very well. He played a monster heel gimmick very well, probably the best monster heel since Brock Lesnar. Look how much heat and boos he got from WWE Fans. I'm so glad that Mark Henry got the chance to be a World Heavyweight Champion, even maybe that will be the only time he ever won a World Title.

Compared to those bottom tier names, I'm sure that Mark Henry is above all of them. Mark Henry is way more popular than the rest of them, he's also a former World Champion, where none of them are ever being a World Champion. Also Mark Henry had the best gimmick out of them and played his gimmick better.

So, yeah, Mark Henry had done enough to move himself to the top tier.

I think that even in 2012, Mark is still not good enough to face Taker. I guess Vince planned to push Mark, but his injury afterward changed everything. Sigh, Khali used to be good too but they decided to turn him into a comedian
