can walking be a good cardio work out and for how long ?

how far would i have to walk per day to lose wieght . can u get a 6 pac from walking going to start a diet tommorow to want a flat stomach

    Walking is a great cardio work out. Ive told many people: you can get a natural six pack by simply being lean. If you want the best workout you should probably run.

    And, yes the diet will probably help you 90% in getting that flat stomach and six pack.

    Remeber: combine a good diet, and working out. And your body will do wonders!

    Walking is ok cardio but not good.

    You should be looking at jogging long distances such as 6kilometres to lose fat.

    But even better is cycling or skipping. Combine cycling and skipping with burpees and mountain climbers and you will lose a lot of weight.

    E.g. Burpees x 30 seconds

    Mountain Climbers x 30 seconds

    Skipping 5 minutes

    Cycling 10 minutes - at high intensity

    Do 6 sets of this with a minute break after each set.

    To lose fat you'll have to burn more calories than you take in so the diet is a good option but be strict.

    Cardio should be done 4 times a week and the core work done 2-3 times a week. Sometimes you will have to do both on the same day.

    yes walking or jogging or even riding a bike for 20-40 minutes would be a good cardio for a day

    but remember cardio only reduces(burns) fat

    to get a six pac you have to do abdominal excercises like crunches and sit ups

    the best abdominal excercises are:

    -bicycle crunch

    -captains chair

    -hover(plank)

    -reverse crunch

    -leg lift

    Yes it is, but if you could run sometimes while walking it will be great for you. Riding a bike you burned a lot of calories, its one of my favorite cardio activity.

    Maybe a fast pace and do a mile at least my cousin did that everyday for 2 weeks- hope this helps:)
