Reason for faith in god?
i was wondering why people trust something they dont know completely?may it be one of the qualities developed in the process of evolution from primate to human?quality to hold on to something believing they can overcome any encumbrance to survive instead of being frustrated and give it all up?

I came to the realization that we will never have the answer to "is there a god"? And we may never have the understanding of what really is going in completely with human consciousness or how ancient man came to create such wonders in the world that still marvel us to this day.
I remain in awe of the human mind. And one of those aspects is spirituality.
So, since none of these things have been determined conclusively, why not believe what you want? Sure, let reason guide you, let facts guide you, but where these stop, you get to be on your own. There is anectdotal evidence to follow regarding belief in the supernatural, and since that seems to originate from peaceful people, I follow it.
As for the why, it's made me happy and put me at peace with most people. How can you really know anything completely, after all?

From the process of natural selection can only come the natural. Simple logic. Yet there is also the Spiritual isn't there. Yet be it known now there are two spirits a foot. Yes THE SPIRIT OF JESUS and the spirit of satan. The children of the world or that which THE BIBLE teaches as cain's more genetic offspring if you will heed the spirit that wrought dispare. You see we all have six sense's. Yes the sixth is also governed by your genetics and there lay out for the individual. The flesh use this sense to have revelations of the flesh and the surrounding universe. This is how the science's were born. These believe not in GOD and use science only in their survival. These are cain's more dominant genetic offspring. None of them worshiped GOD in any way. Yet read about them in Genesis how that they invented science. Began herding cattle and changed GOD'S dietary laws for themselves. Which t last statement lends itself to proof of what I teach concerning the cross-breeding I teach about in Genesis chapter six. So then cain's children have faith in themselves and say their is no GOD. Adam's children have faith in GOD and no confidence in the flesh. Never the twain shall meet. If your an Christian for real I should say as many of cain's children in this day just play church and rip off GOD'S WORD for their filthy gain you are in away genetically inferior to cain's offspring because of the difference in Spiritual workings. The BIBLE say's the children of the world are wiser in their generations than the children of the LIGHT. All that bespeaks of genetics of course. So the underlying reason for faith is also genetic. People wanna believe there are some rules and regulations to the world setup by some god because it makes them feel better. They have developed a piece of mind from the idea that god is great, and god is good, and if you do right things you'll go to heaven. I mean, that ideology literally helps them get through the day man, and for a lot of people it's a nice simple box to put the world in.

Some think that 'faith' & 'blind faith' are the same. They're not.
The Bible definition of faith is at Hebrews 11:1-"Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld."- so, unlike what many think, the Bible doesn't encourage 'blind' faith...and everyone has demonstrated the kind of faith the Bible encourages for something in their life. To illustrate, if you have ever bought an item from a reputable company & then waited for it to be delivered, you have demonstrated that kind of faith- both the reputation of the company & the sales receipt in your hand gave you reason for faith in the company from which you bought the item, & gave your guarantee that you would receive what you had purchased...before the actuality of you receiving it.
Some say they cannot believe in what they cannot directly see for themselves. But the term "evident demonstration", in the scripture, carries the idea of faith being based on previous evidence, that which at times contradicts things that only appear to be factual. For instance, the sun appears to revolve around the earth- rising in the east, moving through the sky, & setting in the west. But, evidence from astronomy and mathematics reveals that the earth is not the center of the solar system. Once you become familiar with that evidence & accept it as true, you have faith that the earth revolves around the sun...despite what your eyes tell you.
So, therefore true faith is not blind. On the contrary, it gives you the ability to see things as they really are, not merely as they seem to be.
God has given countless ways & reasons to know he exists & is real & he cares. If you have a trusted friend who has always followed thru with his word & always spoken the truth to you, the next time he tells you something, you have faith that it's true, or if he promises you something you have faith he'll follow thru because he always has before- that is the exact same 'evident demonstration' that is spoken of in the Bible about faith in God.
The Bible also actually encourages you to 'test' & 'prove' your beliefs & faith (2 Cor 13:5), and to 'dig for truth as for hidden treasure' (Prov 2:4). Again, not encouraging 'blind faith' at all, but true faith with reason. Best wishes on your search for truth. =)

That kind of trust in something comes from, as children, trusting one's ancestors and respected peers to tell them what is good or what is bad.
Evolution allowed for humans to have an amazing ability to trust their elders to tell them what is good or bad so they would know for the future. A child who is told not to jump off a cliff because it is dangerous is going to have the exact same understanding as a child who actually does jump off a cliff. The only difference is the child that didn't jump off the cliff won't be severely injured or killed.
Religion uses that factor in order to be placed inside the brain. If a child assumes that "God is good" because their parents say so, the child is going to trust that and maintain it as a base.

People trust in God and have Faith in Him because they know completely, that their lives will be better on this earth and after death. Faith in God; Hope for internal life: Love for mankind.
For those who not believe in God, will not be protected from satan and live a life mistrust; anger and hatred

the bible is a form of indoctrination. The story of genesis doesn't make any sense. then it restarts itself. Still make no sense. I think the only reason that this silly notion of God still exist today is because people force this crap on their kids.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. The Bible contains 66 separate books, which were written by thirty six men who were chosen by God to script His words. This took place over 1600 years and the evidence is in the events and the purpose of the scriptures.
The purpose of the entire Bible is to tell us about our condition of being separated from God because of our sins, God's plan to bring a Savior to die in our place for our sins, Jesus' birth, life, death and resurrection, that God's prophecy has taken place and about our invitation to belong to God as His adopted children through acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Savior.
The Bible is God's written Word to us.
It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
“Above all you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:20-21. (New International Version)
