Removing hair dye from skin?
I got my hair dyed today and my hairdresser got quite a bit of dye on my face. It's near my ear and kind of looks like a sideburn. I've tried alcohol, petroleum jelly, and nail polish remover to get it off and it hasn't helped. It actually looks like some of the blonde hairs on my face got dyed the color and i'm FREAKING because I do NOT want dark hair on my face! Any other things that may take it off?
Also, if my "facial hair" did manage to get dyed, how many days will it actually stay that way?

Next time put petroleum jelly on first. It doesn't remove hair dye, it protects your skin from absorbing it.
Did you try a nail polish remover with acetone in it? Because if not, then it's not going to work.
If some hairs were dyed, they will stay that way for however permanent your hair dye is. So if it's semi- or demi-permanent then it will wash out eventually. If not...it won't.
If it's only on your skin, it will fade out in a couple of days to about a week or so, depending on how dark the dye is.
If it did get some of your hairs, I would honestly just shave or wax them so they'll grow back in your natural color.

Put Vaseline around all your hairline to keep it off in the first place next time before you get your hair dyed (it's critical to take necessary precaution before making any permanent decisions in your life)
Anyway, it's gonna take sometime for the hair dye to go away, dye is sorta like sharpie to skin, the skin absorbs the dye on its surface. Once the surface cells on your head start to die, you'll slowly lose the color you see on it. So just be sure to wash ur scalp extra good everyday, and it should go away in a couple weeks.

Nail polish remover could be functional to remove hair dye stains even though it truly is going to in elementary words be used in small parts, and in elementary words far flung from the eyes. to attempt it, soak a small ball of cotton on nail polish remover and rub the area some cases. make confident you save a window open at the same time as attempting this, because the fumes could be good.
