Is there such a thing as an Agnostic Atheist?
I have the hardest time with knowing if I am an agnostic or Atheist. I have heard there are even Agnostic Atheists.. Is this true?
I don't believe in the God written in the bible, but I cannot say I know there are no Gods that created us or that there were. Logically, as I sit here, I tell myself that our universe was created by scientific evidence & theories & that the thought of any deity creating it is ludicrous but that doesn't mean I can state it as a fact.
Thanks for any advice.

" Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in principle or currently unknown in fact."

Yes. An agnostic atheist is one who believes that we can't know for sure, but that it's quite unlikely that there is a god. I think you'll find that most of us don't make a definitive statement that there is no god. We're more likely to say that in the absence of any evidence for a god it's silly to believe in one.

Yes.
Both are statements of belief, but they are not incompatible. You do not believe in a God. Therefor you're an Atheist. But while you do not believe there is a God, you also believe the idea cannot be stated as fact. Therefor you're agnostic in your atheistic beliefs. Therefor, you are an agnostic atheist.

If you believe some shape or form of a higher power created us, you are a Theist
If you believe that the thought of a higher power creating us is ludicrous, you are an Atheist

Yes, almost all atheists are agnostic atheists. Dawkins, Einstein, etc etc . We don't believe in any gods so we're atheists. We don't claim to know for sure either way so we're agnostics.

Yes. There are agnostic atheists, gnostic atheists, agnostic theists, and gnostic theists:

It's not even that simple - you are agnostic regarding some gods, and gnostic regarding others (those who can't possibly exist).
