Really need help here!?

I hit my head pretty hard. I have a bump. I saw a bright light for an instant when I hit, and now it's time for me to go to bed, but I'm scared and something feels off.

I've gotten bad thwumps before, but this is different.

I was all huffy, and sat on my bed in a huff. But I conked my head on my windowsill, and I saw the light. I could still see outlines, but everything else was white. Then I lifted my head and was really dizzy. So I lay down crying for a bit, and then I'm ready to go to bed, but I get this hunch, beacause I'm a bit sluggish and....I dunno.....Off? So I'm scared, and sluggish, trembly, and my ears started to secrete wax.....Not sure if related or not.

Questions:

1. Chances of concussion?

2. What can I do....Anything that should help?

3. Symptoms of concussion?

4. How long can it take for me to exibit symptoms?

5. Anything else?

Update:

I don't have a charged phone, my "babysitter" (Grandma) thinks it's nothing, but.......I think I will see the doctor, but will wait to have more answers and opinions.

Sounds like the definition of a concussion to me. Go to the hospital. Immediately. Even if it turns out not to be its good to be sure, but it really does sound like one.

Even if you had a concussion, unless you were throwing up everywhere then there's really no problem. If you didn't get knocked out then it's not serious enough to do anything. But I think you're just scaring yourself. Just relax, if you haven't started having seizures, thrown up, passed out, then it's not severe enough to do anything , if you went to the doctor, they would just tell you to sleep, so just relax and don't scare yourself.

  • I'd avoid sleeping for today and head to a doctor's first thing tomorrow.

Call a friend.... Tell them your story and have them call you back in 2 hours. Get some rest and when they call tell tjem you are ok. Of they call and you do not answer, have them call 911. Too easy.
