What happens if I block a Facebook friend?
I added a friend on FB the other day that I've discovered is friends with someone I'm on the outs with in rl. I don't want to block my new friend. But the person I'm on the outs with in rl is able to see my page and posts because of our mutual friend. I have blocked the rl person from accessing my page directly. But I, of course, can't block that person from viewing through our mutual friend.
Are there any options other than deleting my new friend?

the person wont be able to send you friend request and cannot view your profile

Hello sir! If you add someone and you block that user, the only thing the user can see is an outdated page of you..he can't see anymore updates or wall post or whatever...
