I received an email supposedly from Yahoo with the above address. I am skeptical of phishing scams so want to be sure this is legitimate before responding to it.

The email says,

"Hi (name),

It looks like you haven't signed into (supposed email account) for quite some time. Please sign into your account on Yahoo within the next 30 days if you'd like to keep your account active.

We've been making upgrades to Yahoo Mail! Now you can access all your mailboxes in one place, share photos & animated GIFs, and never worry about space again with 1000GB of free storage. Get the new Yahoo Mail app in Google Play or Apple App Store.

The email claims the Yahoo Email Team received a request from China to terminate my email account.

Here is the email :

"This is to Notify you that Your Email address account was requested to Terminate and Remove from our Server Today from Unknown location in China.

You must stop this Request immediately or your account will be disable and Terminated from our Server. We recommend that you follow attached to upgrade your account withtin 24 hours to avoid Termination.

This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active. "

I know this is an attempt of the sender to get my information and anyone else's who has received it. It did have an attachment which I did NOT open. The email remains in my Spam folder until I get both emails forwarded to Yahoo.

If I'm not getting error messages, usually Error 4 or Error 14, I'm getting "Failed to save message" messages. I can't load or save anything. I can't delete unwanted emails. I can't do ANYTHING with Yahoo Mail now.

The problem isn't my browser. But that's all I know.

This has been going on for some time. And I'm really fed up with it. This problem needs to be fixed.

When you correspond with someone regularly, it says, "Me, other person's name)". How do I get to the original email someone sent me so that I can look at the headers?

Until a few days ago, I was able to attach photos to my emails with no problems. Now I attach a photo, save the email in Drafts and when I go in later to add another, the email is there but the photos aren't even on the rare occasion that it says I've got attachments saved.

Is this a glitch in the new Yahoo Email program or what? I know I haven't changed anything on my end.

I logged on this morning and everything was fine. Now I have a blank blue screen where the temperature is suppose to be and the words "No Internet Connection." I have tried rebooting my PC several times to no avail. I am obviously connected to the Internet since I am typing this on Yahoo Answers using my PC.

I cannot access any page relating to the Weather Channel at all. So I thought I would come here for advice. Any suggestions other than uninstalling the app?

I am already logged into Yahoo. But when I try to access my email, it wants me to verify my password. I do and am taken back to the sign in page, sometimes right after I've logged in. I accessed Yahoo's "Help" page and tried all the suggestions. None work for very long. Is it because the "https" is at the beginning of the URL? If so, how do I get rid of it?

I added a friend on FB the other day that I've discovered is friends with someone I'm on the outs with in rl. I don't want to block my new friend. But the person I'm on the outs with in rl is able to see my page and posts because of our mutual friend. I have blocked the rl person from accessing my page directly. But I, of course, can't block that person from viewing through our mutual friend.

Are there any options other than deleting my new friend?

My Yahoo Classic email hasn't worked for 4 weeks now. I really need to contact someone in their technical support. I need to be able to access this account so that I can at least move the contents to another email account if this one isn't going to work again.

I keep getting Error 5, Error 2, Error 17 and others. I can't access my email at all.

I love the Moody Blues and I love The Simpsons TV show. I know they appeared on the show around 1999 or 2000. Can a "Simpsons" fan please let me know which season that was and if it's available on DVD?

I don't like the foods on the standard diabetic diet. I want a bit of flavor to my food.

I have chronic diarrhea which has gotten worse since my gall bladder was removed in 2004. Two years ago, I was put on Immodium AD twice a day which helps some. But it seems like no matter what I eat, my system gets upset and the whole thing starts again. The dr who diagnosed me didn't have any dietary suggestions. I am sick and tired of being a prisoner of this condition.

I've switched to DVDs and am trying to sell off my video collection. I need the money and the space. This is one area where I'm trying to downsize.
