Is calling a black person an African American racial profiling?
Wouldn't a Jamaican be insulted if you called them an African American. So just because someones skin is "black" doesn't mean they are African. After all, we all are descendents of Africans. What do you think?
I am speaking of black people that were born in America. I Would just consider everyone born in America Americans but society insists on labeling people for reasons of job applications, registrations of various reasons exc exc...

Yes i agree i don't think a black person should be called "African-American'. Doesn't mean they are african. And yes Jamacians and samoans would be insulted being called that although you can usually tell where they are from but even if you cant no one should be saying african because thats not right.

Yes!!!! Anytime you identify someone as African American you are identifying them with people that are 8 times more likely to be criminals, 15 times more likely to drop out of school, and 12 times more likely to abandon their children. Even the news media does not identify at large criminals as African American even though it is in the police report and an obvious way for the public to identify or eliminate potential at large criminals.Being politically correct means ignoring racial identities and being sensitive to the tremendous differences in the way others behave and live.

Yes a Jamaican man would because essentially they were not born in America so they SHOULD be referred to as Jamaicans.
