How free are we when we've got a government that can choose how much money we keep in our paycheck?

What about who we can and can't marry, smoking marijuana, and having abortions?

i know of no government that operates without taxes. taking from the paycheck is a lot kinder than sending the collector to you house with a machine gun. you have a vote, use it wisely.

Not free. We have the most regulation, taxes and debt of any other country in the world. We tell other countries how free we are but they just laugh at us.

We are very free. We elect the representatives that determine our taxes and benefits. If they are not doing the job correctly, whose fault is it really?

So all taxes should be voluntary?

Or what size soda you can buy or a soda with "sugar" in it or pop corn or toys in happy meals.
