Our current healthcare system sucks. Why not give Obamacare a chance?

Anyone who says we have the "greatest healthcare system in the world" is lying. People aren't getting proper treatment due to high costs which this bill, once implemented, will contain as Romney's law did in Massachusetts. This isn't even government healthcare. It's allowing you to buy private insurance at a subsidized cost (lower) and keeping insurance companies from denying you the treatment you need due to pre-existing conditions, so what exactly is the problem?

Because Obama brought it in, and he is a Muslim Atheist Communist Nazi Socialist Liberal Kenyan from Indonesia.

If Romeny was in power he would never introduce a health care bill, because he knows it would not work.

Just like that time he introduced a health care bill Massachusetts, and it worked.

Romeny knows that introducing a Health Care bill makes everyone's premiums go up.

Just the same way in Massachusetts everyone's premiums went down compared to the rest of the country.

Romeny knows that it doesn't make any difference to the amount of people covered.

Just like in Massachusetts it made a huge difference and its now one of the few states with over 98% of people being covered.

Romeny knows that a health care bill will mean that more employers will stop offering coverage.

Just like after introducing the health care bill in Massachusetts the state now has a a much higher % of employers offering coverage compared to the rest of the US.

Romeny knows that introducing this kind of health care bill means it will force nongroup premiums to rise.

Just like after introducing this kind of health care bill in Massachusetts nongroup health insurance premiums in Massachusetts have fallen by as much as 40% because health reform brought healthy people into the insurance market. In contrast, at the national level nongroup premiums have risen 14%.

Romeny knows that it will bankrupt the country, just like Massachusetts is bankrupt due to Healthcare.

Apart from its not, its in line with spending and in budget.

Romeny knows that a healthcare bill will be really unpopular, and no one will want it after having it for a number of years.

Just like 6 years on, in every poll around 70% of people in Massachusetts are positive about their healthcare.

    That makes sense, right?

FYI- peoples premiums have gone up due to your insurance companies, not Obamacare, you have another 2 years to wait for that to kick in.

Should I post a copy of the rebate check from my insurance company, because of Obamacare? To prove to all that the new law appears to be working in our favor?

My monthly insurance premium has gone up 30% because of Obama Care. This law does thing to curb the cost of treatments and does nothing to stop frivolous law suits that has caused doctors practice insurance to sky rocket. This bill has done nothing to help the average american. This is just the latest way to tax Americans and American ran businesses.

A chance to what? Further bankrupt our country? The ACA does NOT make health care more affordable...and that is my biggest beef with it.

It doesn't "allow" - it MANDATES that you purchase insurance or pay a tax/fine/pentalty whatever you want to call it.

And while insurance companies can no longer deny for pre-existing conditions...they sure CAN increase the costs to those individuals. So again...how is health care more "affordable"?

And don't even get me started on the other taxes/fines/penalties that will go into effect and impact mostly the middle class and small businesses.

You are living in la la land. I think the US has the best health care system in the world. Socialized medicine does not work. Pay attention to what goes on in Great Britain with the NHS. They have been literally killing older people to get them out of the way.

That is exactly what we are going to do.

I'm tired of having my pocket picket by insurance companies.
