Best time of day for workout?
I'm pretty happy with my weight and figure but would like to add some muscle and lose a little fat to tone up. I'm planning on working out for 45 minutes a day 5 days a week, but I'm not sure what time of day is the best to exercise.
In the past, I've just done it whenever I have time. Now I'm working from home and can do it whenever I choose, but would like to set a schedule so I actually DO it. Does anybody have opinions on what time of day is most effective/best?

i like to do it in the morning. its cooler outside and it makes a great way to start the day. im not groggy when i get to work and have that post workout energy boost to make the day easier. also, if i do it in the night or after work its too easy to feel tired and not want to do it. i have a physical job and dont seem as motivated to workout if im already tired from work.

Tests in Mens Health study show that working out in the afternoon is great not only since there are a lot of people there to boost your competitive edge but for it's the time when people have their testosterone to be the highest at this time period. Testosterone helps boost your metabolism hence losing weight faster and toning up.

There is no best time to work out, you just have to find out what fits you best. Like I prefer the middle of the day because then I'm not groggy because I've just woken up or tired because I want to go to sleep. Hope I helped :)

I'd like just before dinner, breakfast, lunch and snacks have me fueled, but more because the body is already warmed up and streched out a bit. Then eating dinner would feel so satisfying as well, feeding the muscle.

I usually like working out aroun 8am or 7pm since the sun isn't as strong and the weather is fresher.
