What is it with all the silly entertainer types....?
...... thinking they are smart enough to advise people, or at the very least influence people re: politics.
We have Letterman lying on his show nightly about the Republicans.. and calling it entertainmnet.. it isn't. Oprah backing Obama with her millions, Madonna going Nazi and now the fool George Lopez going after Romney... These people know nothing really.. they are so self tuned that it is amazing they get away from the mirror long enough to realize there is a political world out there.
I have to laugh when they act like they know what they are talking about.. I think they should stick to what they do.. no matter how bad it is.
Do you like it when entertainers try to influence your political beliefs???

Interesting answers you have so far, but they are not truly answering your question.
I thought it interesting that Sarah Jessica Parker threw a dinner party for Obama recently and it was 40K a plate to attend. How lurid it was to read about this and think about the actual waste of money all to hob nob with him and be "cool" or whatever it was about.
Before the last presidential election Matt Damon went on TV and said bad things about Sara Palin, in fact. Who is he to know her and be the authority on what is good or not in her background? He is paid millions to ACT, and did he go to college and major in Political Science? Then, of all people (as she is convicted felon - which is still kind of laughable, as she did nothing that others have not done before her) Martha Stewart was on TV being interviewed about her thoughts on Obama and McCain.
The sad thing is teen idols like Lady Gaga are out there also spewing their beliefs to the impressionable kinds. They tweet on twitter their opinions about things and their "sheeple" believe them and mindlessly follow along.
I'm sick of how things have become and there are no entertainment people out there that I would listen to. We have a warped society.
Here is a good example of how warped we are: I think there were 6 of our soldiers killed in ONE DAY in Afghanistan and I didn't see mention of it on the news that day, but I saw several minutes dedicated to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' divorce. Are we really that awful that this is what we have come to? I guess so....
If we are that bad as a society, I guess we deserve the likes of Obama and his cronies which include a cabinet member who is guilty of tax evasion and an attorney general gun "laundering" in order to make it look bad for us to have guns and disarm us... then it's all fun and games until a border agent get's murdered with one of our own guns sold under the table. Yup, we deserve what we get. But, let's all check Lady GaGa's tweets and see what she has to say about it, I'm sure that is the proper source.
Sickening.

What's with all the dips$$t yahoo answers people trying to appear as though they have a legitimate concern when in reality they expose their bias for romney with their Mexican language. Get over yourself, they are paid to convince people that what they are partaking in is authentic. This makes them the perfect spokespeople for politics. If you are stupid enough to believe that how you vote will determine how the society you live in works, go vote.
