Going every other day and training chest
arms back shoulders in one workout
Or
Going everyday but training chest one day, arms the next, etc.
I have been doing the first option for a long time. It works but would the other one be better?

What about your legs, you need them to help you gain upper body mass ( and to look symetrical and be really strong!) Can you go everyday ? 5 days a week, seperating muscle groups per day. If not go chest and back, then arms and sholders every other day. Keep it enjoyable and sensible, you'll change your routine as time goes along if you stick with it, which I hope you do, it's the greatest!
