It is not wrong unless it is being done for greed or vengeance. If a corporation knowingly hurts you and you remain silent, that is wrong. That is us placing our own comfort and desire to avoid conflict above the welfare and safety of others.

Generally speaking I don't like the idea of suing at all. I tried it once. A woman crashed into my car and totalled it. It was by the grace of God that I wasn't killed. My guardian angel kept me from going through the green light (any faster) while I couldn't see her coming through the red in the other direction. Long story short, she lied herself through the whole thing and she convinced the judge instead of me, so I didn't get a penny for all my trouble and my health was not good and my job was in jeapardy at the same time and so the whole thing was so very hard. I didn't have money saved up to buy another one either on my low pay. Had to borrow an old truck from my son to drive and could hardly drive it or get in and out of my parking space with that. Also, had two minor accidents in that truck too. But we take one day at a time.
Anyway, I would recommend someone getting counseling and prayer before they decide to sue anyone and it better be for a very good reason too. God bless you much!

There would have to be a very serious reason, concerning the very real possibility of many people being in danger of receiving serious injury due to some kind of long-term neglect or faulty structure of corporation property etc. not a one off unfortunate relatively minor injury. For example - a flagstone may tilt causing someone to trip, due to heavy rains

It depends.
Now a days, you can get money for accidents even if it was due to YOUR OWN negligence and carelessness- like sawing your finger off.
I think that if the corporation was negligent, then sure ... but I think it is a conscience issue.
