Why does my right nostril start bleeding whenever I blow my nose?
I've never been a nose-bleeder. My friend used to get them all the time when we were six or seven or so, but I never ever got them.
This year, at the age of sixteen, I've been getting them EVERY time I blow my nose - I don't need to blow it often, but, when I do, there's blood... but only out of my right nostril.
At first, it was your average nosebleed - 5-10 minutes of sitting around and waiting for it to stop with a tissue up my nose - but, today, I blew my nose twice (once in the morning, and once in the afternoon) and the "flows" were slightly heavier. As in, the tissue got redder quicker and it took longer to go away. The afternoon bleeding also managed to elicit a minor flow from my LEFT nostril.
What could be happening in my dear old nose? I've read of such things as weak walls inside the nose, or blood vessel problems, or even trauma caused by pinching the bridge of your nose.
Any ideas?

Most commonly, trauma to the nose triggers a nosebleed. Trauma to the outside of the nose, such as a blow to the face, or trauma inside the nose, such as nose picking or repeated irritation from a cold or dry weather, can cause a nosebleed. An inability of the blood to clot, may contribute to the bleeding. Inability of the blood to clot is most often due to blood-thinning drugs such as warfarin (Coumadin) or aspirin. Liver disease can also interfere with blood clotting.
To stop a nosebleed:
-Remain calm.
-Sit up straight.
-Lean your head forward. Tilting your head back will only cause you to swallow the blood.
-Pinch the nostrils together with your thumb and index finger for 10 minutes. Have someone time you to make sure you do not release the nostrils any earlier.

That happens to me all the time once I'm sick and i've quite bad allergies too. Your nose is most of the time just dry and to fix that, you have got to try and use some nasil spray, that is what I did and it rather aid. Different then that it just appears like a bloodless and that's not quite medication ready. Just leisure whilst you get house and continue to take cough medication, bloodless treatment, use cough drops, you'll be high-quality hun.
