the only thing to get rid of poison ivy or oak is to use DOMBORO. it can be purchased at wal-mart or the pharmacy. just put one or two packets in a bottle of water and soak a paper towel then lay it on there for 15 min 3 times a day. it will be better in about 2 days. DO NOT USE LOTIONS it will only spread it. Trust me this works. and keep it on hand.

Not exactly sure but make sure your taking cold showers, now or any time you are finished hiking and may have been around poison ivy or poison oak. This keeps the pores on your skin closed wile showering the oils off your skin.It always worked like a charm for me and I know that I walked through poison oak several occasions as a kid..

you can try putting mud on it and wash it off when its dry, it might help. but if it starts to spreed go to the doctor because poison ivy is really bad my uncle had it and he end up in the hospital for 3 days. so if it gets bad go straght away to the doctor!
