Guys: Is he ignoring me or embarrassed?

I'm so confused. Lately, my crush has been texting me a lot more and calling me, which is great. We went to the movies on Friday and he kept touching my arm and flirting... We went to the movies again last night (saw batman twice.. lol) -- and I was in the theater holding seats for all our friends and he came in and saw me and basically ran up the stairs. lol -- he asked where I was sitting and sat down right next to me.

I'm probably just over thinking this, because his friends were there and its his favorite super hero and we've seen the movie already and he wanted to see what his friend's reaction would be... but like after the movie he basically ignored me. I was not there. we stood in the lobby talking for a few minutes with everyone and then i said bye and left. like he didnt even look at me or anything.

we walked out together, i was basically there... but i had a feeling he didn't want anyone to know... it's obvious he likes me. i just don't get it. he's hot and cold all the damn time and it's frustrating.
