The other day, my co-worker, who I'm getting to know (on a friend basis) called my name and then looked down and then up at time (like he was checking me out) and nodded. And I was like, "what??" (in my head). I have caught myself kind of flirting with him, but not intentionally, and I like having conversations with him and we get along and I think he's a great person.

Did he do this because he likes me or that he likes something more? I was just totally caught off guard and now I can't stop thinking about it.

So my best guy friend texts me and we go back and forth a couple times and then he said, "You do an awesome job. Trust me."

what does that suppose to mean? Why wouldn't I believe him? lol

I hear all the time that you shouldn't trust people who say "trust me" but I know my friend and but I don't know why he felt like he had to reassure me...

I do have a small crush on him and I have no idea how he feels about me other than the fact that he considers me one of his best friends...

Okay, so the other day a close guy friend of mine (whom I have a crush on) texts me asking if I was going to this bar because a few of our mutual friends were going out. I replied that yes, I was going to be there and then he said "yay" -- I never know if he likes me more than a friend, but this is weird, no?

I'm just interested in the guy's perspective on this. If you consider a girl a best friend, has she been friend zoned? For example, if you tell a girl "you're one of my best friends" -- I know what a best friend is... but I want to know what it takes for a guy to consider a girl to be considered a best friend to them.

ok.. so there was a concert Saturday night and I was planning on driving my crush and our mutual friend up to the show... a couple hours before hand, my crush texts me and asks if I still had this construction paper, because he was working on a project we're involved in and I said yes (keep in mind that he had like 5 sheets to do that could've waited until Sunday) -- then he texts me asking if I was doing anything at the moment and I said no.. and he explained the paper situation and asked me if I could bring it over.. so I go there waay earlier than I was planning too -- not that I minded at all. LOL!

So I get there and his parents are not home... It's just us two.. and we were just talking about our group project thing... and he also had to get more balloons... he asked if I was already ready for the concert and I said yeah, so I had free time... so we went to the store to find balloons and stuff... and then we came back and he ate and I just watched TV and made small talk.

But the point I'm trying to make is that I was talking to our other mutual friend the next day about all the stuff and said that we went to pick up balloons at the store and she was like "that's weird, that was my job to get the balloons" -- because she had a big bag.

My crush did not tell me that this girl was suppose to get balloons... So what was he doing? Just trying to spend time with me?

Ok, so I have a pair of capris and they're rolled at the bottom and they have like rips in them. Today was the second time I've worn them. My parents hate these pants, but they're comfortable.

Anyways, my guy friend, who I like, who has never commented on my clothes before, was like "do your parents like your pants" -- or something along those lines... and I'm like "no, they hate them" -- I have no idea what he was trying to insinuate here... That he doesn't like my pants either?

I'm totally confused.

is he just trying to get my attention? It's not mean teasing, it's just playing around... But when we're alone, we always have conversations and talk about stuff, but in front of our friends we just act like nothing is going on sometimes... and sometimes he's silly...

we don't go out, but I do like him... what gives?

For example, my crush and I discuss a lot of things that involve our group at church and he's always like "this stays between us" -- Because I don't think he should be sharing some of the things he knows with me. But some stuff involves me.

I'm sometimes confused with my relationship with him. We're friends and I think there is potential for more... but I'm uncertain, because I can see he trusts me with this information and with other personal things too..

Is it hard for a guy to trust a girl? What kind of relationship do you have to have with her in order to keep secrets or have trust with important information?

Do guys test girls like this? What happens if you think she does like you? Do you still wait?

As I was writing out a previous question, I kind of figured something out, sort of... Maybe he was trying to tell me something??

My guy friend (my crush) and I were in the car the other night and we were about a half hour from home and he told me that a mutual friend of ours wanted to drive him home because she wanted to talk to him about something. And he had asked her if it was important or if it could wait until tomorrow... She said it could wait... but the girl was like "did she bring you up? I can bring you back home..." -- so he would basically be ditching me. Because when he told me that she basically would "take over" for me, essentially... I got a little sarcastic and said "that's nice of her" and then he said she need to talk about something and I was like "oh, ok" -- but still... if it could've waited, she didn't have to make a big deal about driving him home or anything. she could've called him or talked to him in person at the place we all met at... right?

But I just kind of figured something out... He didn't have to tell me anything. But he thought I should know... He could've been testing me to see what my reaction would've been... or he could've just been saying that he was choosing me over someone else.

Right? Or am I just over analyzing this situation?

Ok, it's blatantly obvious this guy likes me, and I like him.. but its a little hard because we've become good friends and we don't want to ruin anything and no one has made the first move... but we flirt all the friggin time.

anyways... last week I had this meeting with a friend of mine (who is engaged) and my crush was conflicted because he had another thing to go to, which I understood.. no biggie but when he found out that he didn't have to go to the other thing, he texted me saying "yay! I was getting anxiety about having both events and having to choose" and I said it was okay.. he hadn't seen his other friends in a while, so it was okay... and he goes "yea, but it's urs and her's meeting" and I'm joking and saying "yeah, we're pretty special" and he goes "obviously..." with the dot dot dot and I just gave a smiley face and lol

and then today I texted him (because he's going through some stuff) and I just said that I was letting him know that I'm always around if he ever wants to talk about anything and he goes "thanks. ditto..."

Guys: is there a significance to the ellipses?

he keeps telling me his plans and where he's going to be and at the movies he made it a point to sit next me. like he asked "where are you sitting?" maybe I'm not being more clear and should just tell him-- I don't know.

but anyways... with the texts... the ellipses (that I keep using lol) what's up?

I'm so confused. Lately, my crush has been texting me a lot more and calling me, which is great. We went to the movies on Friday and he kept touching my arm and flirting... We went to the movies again last night (saw batman twice.. lol) -- and I was in the theater holding seats for all our friends and he came in and saw me and basically ran up the stairs. lol -- he asked where I was sitting and sat down right next to me.

I'm probably just over thinking this, because his friends were there and its his favorite super hero and we've seen the movie already and he wanted to see what his friend's reaction would be... but like after the movie he basically ignored me. I was not there. we stood in the lobby talking for a few minutes with everyone and then i said bye and left. like he didnt even look at me or anything.

we walked out together, i was basically there... but i had a feeling he didn't want anyone to know... it's obvious he likes me. i just don't get it. he's hot and cold all the damn time and it's frustrating.

I actually don't mind the quietness, I mean, I know he's there and that's great... I think he likes me too, I'm pretty sure he does. How do guys feel with silence? It didn't really feel uncomfortable or awkward, it's just like, we were just sitting there.

We had just gotten out of a movie where he was definitely flirting with me, touching my shoulder with his and facing towards me... all cute stuff =)
