Guys: Being quiet for a little bit okay?
Ok, my guy friend (crush) and I are always in the car together and we talk about everything... the other day, I felt like we either ran out of things to say... but we were just quiet for a while.
I actually don't mind the quietness, I mean, I know he's there and that's great... I think he likes me too, I'm pretty sure he does. How do guys feel with silence? It didn't really feel uncomfortable or awkward, it's just like, we were just sitting there.
We had just gotten out of a movie where he was definitely flirting with me, touching my shoulder with his and facing towards me... all cute stuff =)
Anyone have this happen to you?

Sorry I'm a girl, but sometimes a little comfortable silence like that between a guy and a girl who like each other can be refreshing. There was something I read about how when a couple can have a "comfortable silence" -- where it is not awkward at all, just the two simply enjoying the quiet together, basking in each other's quiet company -- that's always a good sign. It's refreshing to know that you can be comfortable with him without either of you having to say a word, just be. This sometimes happens with my boyfriend of 2yrs when we may have run out of things to say, and it's just a lovely feeling, I think. Oh, and know this: It's only awkward if you (or him) make it that way! Best of luck to you and your crush! :]

particular, I additionally like people who could be quiet for classes of time. If somebody is susceptible to talk each and all of the time, it could grow to be annoying, exceedingly if it mindless blabbering approximately no longer something significant. i think of people who could be quiet and yet have a communique approximately interesting or significant concerns and are respectful of their way in the direction of others are the suitable style of folk to be around.

So common, it has a name--Awkward Silence.
No one said anything wrong, it just stops, it starts a while later, OK.
Happens in adult conversations too.
