"Confront with my boss" or "confront my boss"?

Which one's correct?:)

    "Confront my boss" is correct, because "confront with my boss" suggests you are confronting someone (or something) else, with your boss as added support. A lot of people misuse the phrase in this way, but in order for "with" to make any real sense there, you'd have to make "confront" into "confrontation" and add "I had a," "I seek a," etc. However, I won't be in the least bit surprised if the former becomes accepted within the next few decades, as most "business-speak" already attaches few problems to it. It's proactively outside the box, after all.

    Well I don't think either of them are... incorrect. The former gives the impression of confronting someone or something with the aid or accompaniment of your boss. The latter is as if you yourself are confronting your boss.
