Why are Leos so arrogant and conceited?

I'm Libra and I can understand the lion's pride. I have some of those traits myself and though very few lions have managed to come into a heated or serious agreement with me but I do know how to deal with them and we get along nicely anyway.

Like Libra Leo is selfless and we actually work for the common good.

It would be a negative trait, yes. Positive trait: determination. I wouldn't put up with or get brainwashed by one. A stupid, ignorant fixed sign, that is. A.K.A. the ones who go out of their way to shove their beliefs down your throat and think everyone should agree with them and subscribe to their opinions. They'll pester the f**k out of you if you don't and go about your business. @Best of the Business! ;) Have I been hurt by one? Yes. But then again I've been hurt by a few who *weren't* fixed signs. Or so I think.. I have no idea what their charts look like. Perhaps I was a tad bit angry when I wrote that, it's just that I'm so against that type of behavior. Fixed signs *are* known for their dogmatism which is why I stated it was a negative trait of theirs. Of fixed signs.. not the people born under it.

How old are they? That's more likely the reason. Are they the dressy, fashionista types that flock schools...well that's typical of them and they'll more likely change.

From my experience I never met such a Leo like this before, one who happened to be a very attractive girl who is quiet and draws very, very well is also very modest and well-liked. There was a Leo guy I met who happened to be a walking sex symbol (I didn't notice it a while after we met), and he had low self-esteem and he had a lot of family problems that he had to move out. Met another girl who is very energetic, nerdy, and fun...not at all a jerk.

I know exactly what you're talking about! It's funny when they try to get you to ask about things happening in their life and they're all bursting with energy hoping you will, all hinting at it, but you don't because you're not in the least bit interested to hear about it :P sorry leos!

I actually have quite a number of leo friends and they're fun to be around, but yeah, these traits can get to you.

I think it's just their showy nature.

I so agree with u, most of them are arrogent, conceited, crave attention all the time. i do like them, but they're annoying sometimes. They are insecure deep down, they dnt like anyone stepping on their pride. My brothors a Leo he's a bit self-centred, egoistic too, but he's learn't not to be so cocky with it. He's very proud, having confidence is a good thing though! i have a lot of respect for him b/cos he's very wise! generous, compassionate & has a big heart.

ಠ＿ರೃ Deal with it! We feel like we own the world, and we usually get the attention without even wanting to.

Why do people highlight the bad things! Like this, we will never be able to succeed in society with such negativity and discrimination. Its like asking "Why do Libras, lie so much, why are they so indecisive, why are they gullible blah blah blah!"

I don't know why either I'm a taurus and I just broke up with my gf and she was a leo and the same issues. It's probably the year for our signs that making us like this

We may be proud, arrogant, pretentious and conceited at times but at least we don't go into emotional outbursts, controlled by our feelings, and go into sappy mode all the time. We are actually quite dignified and usually a power for good.
