Why do They Keep Killing Off the Black Guys in Fallen Skies?

I really love science fiction, so I was really looking forward to the new series Fallen Skies.  It does move slow sometimes, but I love how they are developing the story line.  

But I notice that almost all the characters from the good side who are killed have been the black ones.  Even the black kid who was harnessed, they brought him back, just to kill him in the same episode.

Then they introduced a new black guy, really cute with locks, just to kill him off a few episodes later.

What is up??  What do you think??

Hey Zumeria...great question and wonderful to see a SSFF-Sister Sci-Fi Fan...I watched the premier but just couldn't maintain my interest...I don't like Noah Wylie as the lead...sorry, sue me...but I love Will Patton as the colonel..he was great and crazy in The Postman and Everybody Wins...so this is dismaying to hear...you know they don't think that black people fit into s/f..but what about I, Robot with Will Smith and the characters from the Hunger Games...we need a campaign to stop this...I would love to see a black s/f anthology series with some of Octavia Butler's works..and why did they kill off Rufus in Supernatural? Or even the series Cleopatra 3000 with Gina Torres'.. she could have been another Xena.

Media wants to portray black as helpless and weak, that's why.
