Critter Nation cage. price reasonable?
I found a critter nation cage on CL that I'm interested in getting for my chin. Its the "two story" cage with the opening doors on top and bottom.
The cage is 5 years old and has been used to house a "variety of rodents" in its time. One of the "lofts" broke and is now missing. One of the bottom doors doesn't open easily anymore but can be ignored since the other works fine as do the top two.
The lady is asking $180. I honestly think its worth $100 or even less but offering so much less than the asking price seems rude. Should I wait for another or take the chance and offer? She posted the ad about a week ago and it is still up.

Personally I think 180$ is WAY to high for a cage that is 5 years old, has housed a variety of rodents, has a broken door, and a part is missing. I would offer 140$-150$ and see what she says...
In the end though, whatever you pay will definitely be worth it! I have the single unit for my four fancy rats and it is a wonderful cage! There is SO much space for all of their hammocks, toys and boxes, with still plenty of space to run around and play!
Good luck!! :)

180$ seems a bit much, but 100$ seems a bit low. The original price is 250$, but it's 5 years old and there is some wear and tear. I think somewhere between 100-180$ would be good. Unless it says 180$ firm, why not ask?
