What's upsetting is the wealthy can go to congress and lobby them to change the tax code in their favor. It's disingenuous of them to say they understand our plight when they are only concerned about nesting their eggs. It's a huge era of selfishness from the followers of Ayn Rand. What we used to call lifting one another up to succeed we call a hand out while the wealthy continue to give themselves hand outs through tax subsidies for wealthy profitable corporations (corporate welfare) and writing the tax code in their own favor since they can buy the votes (of course they just call this patriotism; not socialism when the redistribute the wealth to the top 1% on the backs of the bottom 99%). I think everyone thinks their just a dollar short of being that next millionaire and will need those tax breaks; who cares if they make them pay more now because one day they will be that millionaire.
