Basically I want to take a corded electric motor and slap it on my bike.

The motor I have is

120 volts

12 amps

1440 watts

and it's DC making it convenient for batteries.

I was wondering how I would go about or what I should look into to powering this corded motor with a battery to make it mobile.

Don't say homophobia! Homophobia means fear of homosexuals NOT illegal persecution or prejudice. Quit being ignorant and QUIT saying it. Anyways...what's the word for discrimination against homosexuals? I can't seem to come up with a proper one.

I couldn't even finish the 5 minute segment on YouTube. The first words out if one of the interviewees was along the lines of banning all semi automatic guns, and that if the shooter had a pistol he'd only been able to kill 2 people. Why are people so ignorant it hurts me?

Someone confessed their love to me. Said they liked me for several years and cited specific examples where I stood out in those several years. I know the person, and sit by them in a class. She's not a whore, slut, or even stupid. She's shy and quiet. I don't know what the hell to do. She doesn't talk to people outside her group, and even after sitting by me (her precious crush) she still hadn't opened up. My life is too controlled by my parents to have a successful dating life (we're both juniors in high school) and personally, I would value a girl friend over a 'girlfriend'. I don't hate this girl or creeped out, I'm just stumped on what to say. I didn't reply to her confession, as it was on paper, so what should I say? I don't want her to cry or anything. I don't want it to be awkward or make her hate me. How do I go about telling her I want to be friends?

The logic behind this is,

The average Joe has no need for something as powerful and dangerous as an AK-47. People don't need that firepower to protect themselves or recreational use. They only get used for mass killings.

The average Joe has no need for a 500 horsepower vehicle. They have no training in driving such a beast. Posted speed limits and laws don't even allow you to drive the vehicle at it's fastest, thus overpowered. They only cause wrecks which leads to fatalities.

So if you ban my "assault weapons" you should ban your sports car.

Seems fair right? More people die in vehicle accidents caused by speed than gunshots.

How come democrats can't see the common denominator between shootings? Yes there's guns but that's really beside the point. Every person who's done a mass shooting has some sort of mental disorder. Sane people don't go out and kill. By banning "assault weapons" , which by the way shouldn't be considered that, you take away the rights of the American people. They seem to forget a populace that's ready to protect itself from a runaway government should be equal to the government. You can't have millions of people with .22's vs thousands of m4's.

If you think bad guys won't have guns, look up what Australia has done in the last year by confiscating 600,000 firearms.

Seal teams aren't made up of the same men for every mission. So it's incorrect to refer to them the way they have. Today Yahoo itself posted an article titled along the lines of "A SEAL from SEAL team 6 was killed...."

How come? I don't think it's a OS error or anything. I even ordered a new $80 wireless mouse from a street vendor walking to his car. Anyone having the same problem?

First off, I'm not against Catholics or what they teach. I don't hate going to church or doing anything that takes my time that involves it. However even if I enjoy going to church and what not I feel guilty knowing these people may truly accept Gods existence with their whole heart and mind.

My problem is I can't accept God as in his existence. I just don't see how it could possibly work out. Everything like evolution and the big bang make more and more sense to me as I progress through learning them. God creating the Earth and the Universe just doesn't cut it for me.

Is this because of a lack of faith? I have to say I can be quite the over thinker and always wanting the "scientifical" answer. I guess this question is more for anyone strong in any faith who can give me advice on the matter. I'd rather stay in the church but I don't want to continue to stay if I'm not on the same page as everyone.

If I were to leave because of it, I would keep it's morals and commandments as I see no reason to lose them. I just don't know which way to go. Eternal salvation v. What makes sense to me.
