Proof of residency for kindergarten in Harford County, MD?
Harford County Public School system is giving my adult son a difficult time in registering his daughter for kindergarten. He has lived in my home since 2000, his daughter has lived here since 2010. I am the owner of my home, and there is no lease agreement between my son & myself. All his mail, drivers license, car insurance, employment records, veteran records are this address. Yet because he cannot produce a utility bill or a lease the school board is refusing to accept this address as his residence for the school district we live in. They want us to complete a notorized form for a multi family residence, listing each of us along with birthdates and social security numbers. Once they receive that, they will send someone to inspect MY HOUSE to verify my granddaughter actually lives here. First this is not a multi-family residence, he is my son who lives at home with his daughter. Secondly, I feel this is fringing on invasion of my privacy to have someone come into my home to verify my granddaughter lives here by checking for a bedroom!!
Even the court order giving my son residential custody of his daughter lists this address.
Anyone that lives in Harford County Maryland, USA that is experiencing this situation, any advice would be great.

I went through this last year i have the same situationas your son does. It is a pain in the rear with all the documentation , however they dont actually make a house call, i know it says it on the webiste but all they really have you do is meet with the pupil service worker or something like that, btw that is by appt only made the mistake last year of just showing up, oh boy dont do that and btw, you get to look forward to this process every year unless he has a utility in his name or you guys come up with some kind of lease agreement. That used to be my concept precisely when I read that quote from that xian. 1. In view that now we have tested this theory repeatedly 2. It's simpler for them to convince any one who needs to believe, and is not demanding proof. Three. They'll come back with something that could be a fallacy and no longer truth at all, akin to "all these guide written about mermaids and all the bills from sailors who've obvious them is proof, and mermaids aren't a excellent example considering that 90% of americans don't worship mermaids." In different phrases, legitimate argument to an extent, but it's not going to get any god fearing Christian to impeach his/her faith based on evaluation to mermaids.
