Anyone have ideas for family fun?
I have a 15 year old stepson and a 21 month old daughter. We live in the Four Corners area (New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Arizona). My stepson is going home to his mother at the end of this week, and my husband has taken the week off. We need some ideas of "fun" and inexpensive things to do that we can do as a full family. Generally, if we do something the 15 year old wants to do (he and his dad go shooting, work out, driving lessons, etc), it's not something the baby can do. And if it's something the baby enjoys, it bores the heck out of the 15 year old.
Any thoughts about something we can all do (that's not obvious like going to the park, museum, etc, which we've done to DEATH this summer) to make this last week together special for all of us?

Water park- you live in a hot area, the 15 yr old would like it and theres always a few kiddy pools/play areas it seems expensive but Ive seen good deals if you search around sometimes they have family packages
Town pool if you have one
Mini golf- The baby can still have some fun if you help her out and the older 1 if he's into sports which it sounds like he is will enjoy it
Just compromise do something fun for the 15 yr old for a bit and then something for the baby theres a huge age gap it's difficult to work with it

Go to a lake. water parks are more for younger kids, dont think a 15 yr old would enjoy it much. but a lake is always fun for the family.. or a river! If you do end up wanting to spend a little money theres places in salt lake city the family can enjoy.

How about a family hiking trip or going through a corn maze at a local farm?

You could probably go bowling or something and then dinner afterwards.
