How can I find a place that does gender ultrasounds?
I live in Idaho and I want to know the gender of my baby. I'm past 15 weeks now, but my doctor isn't going to do the ultrasound for at least another month. I know there are places you can go to find out, but I don't know how to find them. I'm hoping there is a place I can go to in the Boise area. Anyone know anything that could help?

Go to yellowpages.com and type in ultrasounds and your area code. Lots of place do 3-D ultrasounds but you have to pay out of pocket for it.

I'm not sure anyone is going to be able to tell you with any confidence the gender of your baby at 15 weeks. It is still too early to see via ultrasound. 20 weeks is the best time.
A DNA test would tell you for sure, but that involves amniocentesis which carries a risk of miscarriage. 15 weeks is the absolute earliest for that.
What's the rush?

You can call around and see who will do it. It's going to be expensive, though. You might as well just wait. Patience is a virtue. And there's no guarantee that they will be able to tell the sex of the baby now anyway. But you'll still have to pay for the ultrasound.

I would google it. I live in Washington and I know we have them so I am sure Boise does too

In most countries it's illegal to find out the sex of your baby prior to 30 weeks, to avoid gender preference abortions.
