Are you aware of this?

I am sick and tired of the endless babbling of liberal politicians and newscasters about the so-called "Bush tax cuts for the wealthy".

Fact 1: Bush proposed an across the board REDUCTION in tax rates - a tax rate reduction for everyone who paid income taxes.

Fact 2: The House of Representatives and the Senate then introduced and passed legislation to reduce tax rates across the board. Bush then signed the legislation and it became law.

Fact 3: The tax rate reductions of 2001 rightfully belong to every Representative and Senator who voted for them. They may have been Bush's idea but Congress had to pass the legislation.

At http://www.moneychimp.com/features/tax_brackets.ht... you can compare the tax rates for 2000 and 2012. Note that the bottom rate went from 15% to 10%. Yes, yes, I know that the amount subject to the first 10% in 2012 is lower than the amount subject to the first 15% in 2000 but wouldn't you rather pay 10% on at the first $8,000.00 instead of 15%?

At http://www.kiplinger.com/features/archives/how-you... you can see where you rank as a taxpayer. You'll also see that there is no "99%" so widely proclaimed by the morons calling themselves "Occupy Wall Street". Are you in the Top 50% of taxpayers? In the Top 25%? In the Top 15%?

I know that liberals will refuse to accept these actual facts because 99.9% of the time facts disprove and discredit liberal beliefs - beliefs based on rhetoric, fantasy and lies.

Yes, I am. The whole tax cuts for the rich has been a misinformation and propaganda routine to fool the gullible koolaid drinkers on the left. One of the longest lived Obama policies has been divide and conquer. Hate mongering against the rich to create class warfare is one of his most obvious ploys.

I am unsure what your question is, unless it is what % we are of taxpayers. Of course it was a tax cut across the board, however it affected the rich much more than the poor who pay no taxes. I think you miss the point which is by continuing the tax cut for the wealthy the debt continues to grow.. Yes I know all about the job creators, but I've yet to see any facts that support this theory. The liberal media are not talking about the past so much as the future in continuing the Bush tax cuts for those making over xxx$--the amount keeps changing. I consider myself to be a fiscal and social moderate, who is tired of ALL left and right rhetoric. I'm tired too of all politicians putting their party platforms and retaining their jobs ahead of what will be best for the country. I hear a lot about "jobs" from the politicians, but what I see on CSPAN doesn't reflect what they say to the cameras. 32 house votes on repealing health care??? Votes on ACORN and Planned Parenthood? Really haven't seen any positive movement on anything job related. Obviously if more people are working the deficit will take care of itself with more taxes coming in. I know this isn't related to your "question", but you had your soapbox and now I've had mine.

Liberals use the fact their base is fiscally illiterate. They look at percentage as the main factor. For example, a company make $1 billion in profits, the "billion" is all they see and react to. Even if the company's investment was $100 billion meaning $1 billion was a 1% profit margin, it does not have any meaning to the fiscally ignorant.

Here again with taxes, they view somebody paying 28% on $75,000 earnings, as paying more taxes than somebody paying 12% on $1 billion earnings

As you can see. By the shear numbers of those coming in on this. Facts do not

count on YA. You can't even get the regular numb nuts to piss down your leg on

this one. For once they see the overwhelming amount of data. All the air in their

world leaves. And they sit or stand there blankly staring. I Love it.

Great post. Since they have nothing, I'll bet liberals have resorted to insults instead of speaking to the issues. What is worse, people don't want to hear it. They have hardened their hearts and don't want moved from their comfort zone. It stresses them, poor things.
