What will my tattoo be like after my infection?

I got a tattoo this past Wednesday, and yesterday I noticed that it was oozing, severely red and hot to the touch. I went to the doctor, who said that I have a skin infection--he gave me some antibiotics to kick it, which I started taking yesterday and will continue taking for 10 days. Today it's much, much less red and it stopped oozing, but now almost the whole tattoo is covered with greenish scabs. I'm not really worried about my health, since I do have the antibiotics for it and the doc didn't seem too concerned. My question is, how do you think the tattoo will look after it heals up in a week or two? Does anybody have experience with this, and had their tattoo turn out like crap? I'm just really hoping that after this whole experience it will look ok. Thanks for your help!

Update:

Hi again! Just so you guys know, I did go to a reputable shop, and I followed the aftercare instructions to a T. I don't know how it became infected, but I have a suspicion that I'm just prone to this kind of thing, because even little things like my papercuts and just regular scrapes almost always get infected.

If it got infected, you probably lost color in those areas. You'll just have to wait until the scabs go away and the peeling finishes. If you've lost ink after a month you can get it retouched.

May be should concerned most respected tattoo shop below is the link where you can find the best tattooer in the countries.

If you're prone to issues like this, don't get additional tattoos in the future. In addition, talk to both the tattoo artist and to your doctor before you get this one touched up, should it heal with some damage. The doc may want you to do specific things to help prevent an infection from setting in, and the tattoo artist may need to know about those things before he touches you up, so talk to them both, please.

It will probably need some major touching up and re-colouring, just wait until it's healed and go somewhere REPUTABLE, you shouldn't be getting an infection if you care for it properly and went to a good shop
