Can a car that has been parked and the switch turned off for 8+ hours catch fire spontanously?

A Ford Lobo caught fire at 4 am, after being parked at around 7pm, can it be because of an unknown electrical failure? Or should we suspect foul play?

    yes to both

    cars DO catch fire fro bad starters,,loose wires and other things,,,but more often arson,,,the cops arson investagator can tell easily
