Sore jaw?! what could it be?

im a 17 yr old girl, i woke up last week and had a sore jaw, but only when i open my mouth wide, yawn, or chew food, im kinda panicing as i was googling what it could be and there is something called TMJ, i dont know but does anyone have any ideas wha it could be?

    It could be that your wisdom teeth are beginning to grow. They usually start around the age of 17 however some people don't start growing theirs until they are like 25.

    Usually there is not enough room for them to grow because of all your other teeth so it puts pressure on your jaw, this is what your pain might be.

    They grow just behind your back molars.

    If you research wisdom teeth a little and have more symptoms, you should visit your dentist as they might need to be removed.

    If your sure it isn't your wisdom teeth i would wait 3-4 days and if the pain is still there go to your doctor. Don't try and self diagnose your issue online as by the end of the day you will probably think you have the black plague, cancer and extra alien bones or something. Hope this helps x

    It could be your wisdom teeth, Mine starting growing out when i was 17 and put massive pressure on my jaw, Better get it checked out soon or else it will start hurting like a *****, Might have to get them pulled.
