Is the Nissan Juke for me?
I'm 16 and a girl. i LOVEEEE the nissan juke. I currently have a job and i make around 200 a week. My parents have made a deal with me and said they will pay half of monthly payments if i paid the other half and put money down. However, i'm not sure if i want to get a new car leased or a used car financed. I know it's good to get a used car blahblah but i tend to get bored easily. I'm not sure. I'm very indecisive as you can probably tell .. ALSO, i need an AWD trim but i'm not sure i should get the S( the base ) or the SV( the middle/ kind of luxurious). The S won't have many distractions since it's the base model.. but i love the luxury of the SV. I don't want to a cheap used car under 4000 because i don't want it to break down and whatever. Do you think i'm too young to get a newish.. car ? Is the juke too fast/mature for me? HELP!!!
No, the look and speed is not what only i care about. The speed is not even a factor for me, i'm not a fast driver and would have it in the ECO mode all the time. With the eco mode it would have 36 MPG. And it's also one out of ten cars that was rated best in safety for teen driver. Including the small compact honda that you were referring to that i don't like. Thank you.

You need to be smart about your money. Look for an affordable, durable car that has parts that are not really expensive to replace and you know they have good reviews and are safe. I would recommend a honda civic or a ford focus/escape. I would look into getting a used car that doesn't have a lot of miles on it and is in good condition. You can always get a good price on something used rather than brand new. Believe me, if you are going to be making car payments you will want to get something a little cheaper. Plus insurance, it will shoot up since you are a brand new driver with a brand new car.
It doesn't matter how old you are, it's not plausible to get a brand new car off the lot when you don't have enough to at least put down half of what the car costs. Plus you are too young to have credit so your parents will technically have the car payments and you better be ready to pay them back on that. You will also have gas so make sure your car is fuel efficient.
My opinion: You sound way too immature to have a car of your own if all you car about is what it looks like and how fast it goes. A car is a car and you should want something dependable, safe and fuel efficient. If you were my kid, I would tell you that you needed to do some growing up before you talked to me about cars again.
