Will i make friend in college?

Everyone is gunning to make friends the first few days of college- it's like fishing with a grenade. Be open to talking to as many people as possible (many of them will approach you too). Get friendly with your roommate and the people on your floor. This is easy because you'll see them a lot and it's fun to be right by your friends later.

When college starts you'll have a few topics that you can ask anyone: where are you from, what dorm are you in, what are you majoring in, what classes are you taking? It goes on from there if you find out things you have in common or if they mention something that's interesting. Be friendly and relaxed and be interested in what people have to say. Most people are a little nervous anyway and they'll be glad to be talking and have someone listening.

You can try introducing yourself to people who seem quiet, especially since you're a little shy. They'll be really happy that you're talking to them because they were too scared to make the first move, and they're probably really nice.

Just don't stress over it. I was nervous about meeting new people in college, but it really wasn't that bad because, like I said, everyone is looking to meet new people. You'll meet a lot of awesome friends in college that you'll have for the rest of your life- look forward to it!

I made lots of friends in college and they were much better friends than in high school. Don't worry, just be friendly.
