How can WWE get us interested in Lesnar vs Taker @W 29 if....(more inside)?

1. There's no wife to abuse this time, since Michelle McCool isn't introduced as The Undertaker's wife in WWE and no mention ever made about that kayfabe wise.

2. Vince hates ABA and any non-gimmicky Undertaker portrayal, so reference cannot be made about their UFC meeting.

3. The Undertaker doesn't do emotional promos like HHH did with HBK and the likes.

4. Lesnar is leaving right at WM 29, so anyone with half a brain obviously knows Vince isn't giving up The Streak for him. And that makes it obvious Lesnar will stand no winning chance from the get go no matter what he did.

The only way for the WWE to get the fans interested in a Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker match at Wrestlemania would be if they said this was going to be the Undertaker's OFFICIAL last match regardless of outcome.

Storyline would be, " Could the Undertaker go out in a blaze of glory at Wrestlemania" or "The Last Dance for the Deadman" "The last true test for the Undertaker"

Their last match at Wrestlemania for both Lesnar and The Undertaker would make this interesting to anyone who enjoys professional wrestling.

Clown Prince, I bet you're now interested in my Undertaker/Lesnar Wrestlemania scenarios!!!

    1. Yes, true, but there's in fact history between them and WWE can use that instead. Plus, Lesnar said he has "conquered" all storyline wise, so Undertaker can be his "last conquest" and they can go from there. As shown with most of Undertaker's Wrestlemania matches, there's no need for personal stories to be involved. The wrestling and the streak does the talking

    2. Well, that's why there is the internet. Anyone can look up the conformation on Youtube and I'm not even sure if WWE has legal rights to the footage of them meeting anyways since it was apart of an UFC event, so reference (or no reference), it really doesn't matter

    3. Paul Heyman has some of the best mic skills in the industry and can easily hype the match up.

    4. At this stage of his career, it's really irrelevant. Undertaker is simply not losing to anyone at Wrestlemania. He's just there to put on a show for the fans. Lesnar stands as much as a chance as anyone since Undertaker beat Orton. Really, Orton was the last hope for that streak to end. After him, it's clear Undertaker was never going to lose at Wrestlemania.

Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar. The matchup on the match card speaks for itself. WWE can announce it a week before Wrestlemania and the pro wrestling world would still be excited.

How do you know Lesnar is leaving at WM 29 ? and I know a waty to get us interested, the same way Undertaker returnes as usual, a month before WM 29, just after Elimination Chamber, he confronts his victims for Wrestlemania, taunts them into a match, beats them and yes I understand the streak will never end, no point Taker returning now, he sill feud with like 4 people before Mania, 4 people suited as opponents for him at Mania, for example Big Show (if he gets f*cking pushed again, that push was pathetic), Wade Barrett (if WWE decide to push him to the limit), Kane (they need 1 mor efeud, if Kane gets pushed again, and not being defeated by the likes of Bryan) and maybe even Chris Jericho ? if he turns heel again

SO yeah, pretty much the same way WWE got us interested in Triple H's match basically, or a special match stipulation like HBK's match with Undertaker

That makes a lot of sense, and I agree with it, except for number 4. Most WWE fans are casual fans who only watch the shows. They don't go to wrestling forums (like this one) to discuss rumors and backstage stuff, and they don't read "dirt sheets". They just watch the TV shows (and the PPVs), so that's all they know, what's on their TV screens. The WWE produces shows for THEM, not the IWC. The casual fans who just watch the TV shows and don't go to wrestling forums and read "dirt sheets" make up about 95% of the WWE's worldwide audience. They don't know anything about Lesnar planning to leave on a certain date. They just know him as the monster who came back to beat people up, and so far he's only fought Cena and Triple H which means there are a whole lot of other people to beat up (including Taker). It would be an easy sell to them (Taker vs Lesnar at WM29) because they don't know that Lesnar won't continue after WM. Lesnar as that "unstoppable monster" is somebody they want to see Taker beat. And Lesnar's reputation, size, and recent matches make it an easy sell as him being the guy who CAN end the Streak. The worldwide audience would want this match, especially if before WM Lesnar destroys a couple more big names. They'll want to see if Lesnar is tough enough and skilled enough to actually beat Taker at WM where everybody else has failed.

We have to remember that most WWE fans only watch the shows and don't participate in wrestling-related forums or read "dirt sheets". And we have to remember that the IWC is a tiny fraction of the WWE's worldwide audience and the WWE does not produce their shows for the IWC. WE may conclude that because Lesnar is leaving after WM that he has no chance of winning, but the other 95% don't know that Lesnar is leaving so that won't influence their desire to see this match.

Undertaker vs. Lesnar can happen without a wife to abuse, acknowledgment of their UFC meeting (which isn't relevant anymore) or emotional promos. And how exactly do you know the contractual obligations with Lesnar? He might sign another contract. You never know.

It would have to be Undertaker himself that gets us interested in that match. He can cut good promos, and on this occasion he would since he put Brock over 8 years ago before Brock left for the NFL's Minnesota Vikings.
