Isn't it interesting, how God can always forgive us..?

At least with the GOP, when they say something stupid and offensive, they apologize for it, and ask forgiveness.

With Biden saying Romney will "put y'all back in chains" or Stephanie Cutter saying Romney is either a liar or felon, or the ad accusing Romney of killing a woman with cancer, there was no apologies from the Dems. No condemnations.

What amazes me is that some politicians, especially those on the left, are forgiven by the media, but is a conservative makes a gaffe, he is criticized much more harshly even though he/she apologizes profusely. The Obama campaign, Biden, and Reid have made false statements against Romney and they don't even apologize because the media favors liberal Democrats and hates conservative Republicans. When someone says something dirty to me and apologizes later then I will forgive them, but when I see the bias in the media it is disturbing. This guy had a very poor choice of words and somehow the media picked up on it because he is conservative. Had a liberal said the same thing then it would have been forgotten or not even covered at all.

You are right.We are all hypocrites of eachother and there needs to be more forgiveness out there.Personally I need to be more forgiving of people and I'm genuinely trying.I think if we stop being so hard on ourselves and try to see our flaws as something that doesn't make us bad people then we can change the way we treat others and learn to forgive.Our flaws help us to learn and become better people than we ever thought we could be.It honestly can be a struggle though sometimes to forgive others!

I agree that the fuss is overblown. How do you know that God forgives you, though? I guess you will find out when you die. God does not seem to save the victims of Tidal Waves, Earthquakes, tornadoes, or other natural disasters. In fact in the Old Testament God seemed to cause those events to punish us. Where was the forgiveness then?

You are right but I don't think too many democrats now days believe in any higher power than Obama so good luck in trying to convince them.

it's all spin, all competition, all trying to win an electioin, lies go along with that, promises they know won't be able to be kept, etc. I'd be asking then why are people so stupid to believe all this junk the radio and tv and article people spin?
