If first finished called win, second finished called place, how does such apply to John 17:4 and John 19:30?
John 17:4 = first "finished" (before the cross)
John 19:30 = 2nd "finished" (at the cross)
Lo, I come to do thy will, O God
But which will of which God?
seems like
- God is one: Grace: will have mercy, and not sacrifice
- one God: Law: will have sacrifice, and not mercy
Come on, people, it is a mystery to solve in time

John was written about 90 to 100 Years after Jesus death. Obviously it was not written by an eye witness or even someone who knew Jesus. Yet most Christians regard it as if a close
friend and eye witness to the execution wrote it. Scholars do not know who authored it either.
It is mostly mystery because of so many errors and adulterations in 2000 years.

Think of carpentry work.
First, you develop the product and then you use or sell the product when you are done.
In John 17:4, Jesus said that He gave His Father glory by "finishing" the work He was given to do.
In John 19:30, just before the body Jesus lived in died, He said "It is finished."
There is only one God. The two verses you pointed out go together.
