Anime:
Gintama definitely. Because it's the funniest anime ever, has unique characters, has occasional sad arcs make me cry my eyes out, best anime openings, good ost, etc.
Manga:
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! There are so many great characters and you get to watch them grow into strong mafioso. That's my favorite thing about it. It also has a lot about friendship and the bonds that you share with other, which I love. :)
Oh by the way guys, I'm not looking for something new (but I mean that would be nice xD)
I've actually seen the majority of well-known shounen series and I want to know what other people think is the best. C:

Death Note anime or manga
It never gets boring and it's so thrilling and intense. There's a lot of suspense. There's the right amount of reality and fantasy. The characters are well thought out and you end up loving all of them even the bad guy. It's just perfect and it really plays with your emotions. Just watch at least three episodes and you'll be hooked.

Best shonen anime will always be Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho. Runners up would be FMA and Outlaw Star, things like that I guess

anime: Inuyasha
it has a good story and its music is great.
manga: One Piece
I like adventure story, expecially inspiring ones. One Piece is just such a series. this one always can bring me surprises. funny and sometimes touching enough to make me cry.
