Is Yahoo answers broken again?
After several answers carefully crafting my answer to a question, neither submit nor preview do anything but refresh the "What's your Answer" page. Really annoying! Having worked that hard, I'd like to submit my answer. Is there any other way?
I think I figured out my problem. It appears that Yahoo cannot cope with unicode characters written in hexadecimal form with more than hex digits (specifically 𝒟), although it does accept the unicode character when I copy-paste it. I know unicode is somewhat dangerous as it may not be properly displayed on all browsers, but this one does display on my ancient browser, and an "unprintable character" character would be acceptable in the context.
I'll leave this posted in the hope that it may be useful information for others.
That should more "hexadecimal form with more than FOUR hex digits".

I think there is a big problem with yahoo answers. So. I'd have say yahoo answers is broken, and, it's a shame.. You certainly can't contact them. theres nothing I know of, after repeated attempt to be heard by yahoo, on my gripe.
