Can I bypass my Water Heater in my home?
My water heater blew but I am a little under financial restraint. I would like to know if I could temporarily bypass my water heater and get room temperature water.

there's no need to do that. You'll just get the same water as the cold side. It all comes from the same place . Out of the pipe in the ground

No problem bypassing the water heater, just disconnect the two lines to it and join them together. HOWEVER you will not get room temperature water, it will most likely, almost guaranteed to be much colder. Run the cold water at the sink for a couple of minutes and that will be the temperature you will have coming out, exactly the same as the cold water side of the sink.

Just turn off the water valve to the water heater.
All heaters should have a shut off valve on the cold water side.
Then drain heater so as what water left in tank does not wind up on your floors.
