He's the guy who is supposed to say and do ridiculous things to get everyone else excited. He's supposed to jump and and down and get people into a frenzy. He's supposed to make a complete a$$ of himself to get everyone yelling the same thing. In short, Paul Ryan is the mascot.
Unfortunately for the Republicans, they forgot that you never, ever put the mascot into the game. While it may excite the fans, he is no where near competent, skilled or honest enough to be able to do the job.

It amazes me how right wing fanaticals will ignore answering this question but will thumbs down every single person who acknowledges this fact. Both Ryan or Romney's budget would absolutely devastate anyone in lower income brackets and both would extend and further increase the Bush tax cuts for the rich and enable billionaires and super millionaires to pay less than 1% in taxes. This is not an exaggeration, Romney is going to rewrite the tax code in such a way that businesses and people can stash as much money away as they want, loopholes that the Obama administration has effectively countered and on top of that the fact remains that if the Bush tax cuts would have expire in 2010 then American would be running lower than average deficits, plain and simple. The rich don't want to bare the brute of this economy they want the burden set on the shoulders of lower income people.

He's a menace. He and Republicans want to take the Medicare funds being paid directly to the health care providers and give every nickel to Health Care Insurance companies. Insurance companies are "middle men". They make nothing except profit.
Representative Ryan’s plan is nothing less than a blatant give-away to the Insurance industry. Another Republican owned body and soul by American business.
Disgusting.

Obama stated in congress that raising the debt meant that the leadership has failed so tell me has he failed by increasing it 3 times what it was and about to add another trillion.

You would have thought that they learned that lesson in 2008. Don't choose a crowd pleaser for VP. He/she will outshine the candidate..for a while.
