Is this too much of a workout for the week?

As of now i do:

Monday: chest, run, abs

Tuesday: biceps, triceps, run, abs

Wednesday: back, run, abs

Thursday: shoulders, run abs

Friday: legs, run abs

I am thinking of adding back again on saturday and biceps and triceps on sunday so they are being focused more. I would forget run and abs those days too. My arms and back would get recovery time on the days i do not do them so it doesnt seem bad to do this. Is this a good idea?

My goal is to gain muscle and bulk up. I am on mass gainers.

I get the feeling that you are training your abs too much, let them recover too, especially when you only work out back once a week. Decrease ab training so that you don't lose your posture.

You should give your muscles a rest every other day otherwise you can hurt yourself.

    Instead try doing:

    Monday: Cardio, abs

    Tuesday: Strength/weight training

    Wednesday: Cardio, abs

    Thursday: Strength/weight training

    Friday: Cardio, abs

Give yourself Saturday and Sunday off to rest. By alternating between Cardio and weight training, you would still be gaining muscle without putting too much strain on the same muscles.

Your work out is out of balance.

You can only train your muscles heavily once every 24 to 48 hours.

So wait a day before training your abs again.
