If you move to another state with a license from a previous state do you have to take both written and driving?

test again to get a license for that state?

    agree with wizjp. there may be some exceptions, if you are a minor or have had suspensions, etc. under normal circumstances you just walk in, tell them you have moved, and pay for a new one.

    Most states...neither. You turn in your old license and get a new one.
