What foods to take on a week long road trip?

We'll have a very small styrofoam cooler in a compact car with limited space and two full grown labs. I plan on buying juice boxes, lunch meat, string cheese and bread and freezing it all the night before. Other than the cooler space everything will need to be stored at room temp. I plan on bringing granola, mixed nuts, pop tarts, beef jerky but any other ideas for not terribly unhealthy foods. We will not be eating ANY fast food during this trip. Thanks for your help.

You can't miss with canned foods like veggies, beans and tuna, plus a can opener and plastic spoons. Eat straight from the can.

How fun! I love roadtrips, especially with my dog <3

Anyway, for my boyfriend and I, we usually buy mixed nuts, bananas, cut up apples, peanut butter jam sandwiches, sandwiches without mayo (we bring mayo packets that we pick up from a fast food place so that it doesn't spoil while on the road), lots of water and coffee drinks. I know you said no unhealthy, but hot cheetos fries always hit the spot.

For my dog, we separate his normal food portions (dry Natural Balance kibbles with a Dentastix) in a zip lock bag for morning and night and a separate bag with other treats like cookies. We also put a couple of toys and a bone for him in the back but he doesn't ever play with it in the car.

    Have a great trip!
