People who are grateful for whatever they have are generally the happiest people. They have their priorities straight. All the material things we have can be lost in a heartbeat....too many tornadoes, fires, and other events here in Oklahoma prove that.

Actually, I think some people are born to be happy. I've always been, even tho it may have taken a hiatus at times.

I don't really need or want much. Security adds to happiness, but I believe I would be happy regardless the financial circumstances.

I am happy with my spirituality, joyful in fact.

I am thrilled to know and have the family and friends I have. I am thrilled to have the pets I have had and those I still have.

Life is good! Thanks be to God!

I learned a long time ago that I was responsible for my own happiness and at one particular time in my life,I started to collect "Little Angels". They were invisible pieces of crystal that I could picture and put up on a shelf. They didn't collect dust and I never had to worry about them breaking. The angels consisted of a bluebird that was sitting on a telephone wire outside my window or a child running in the park. Angels were anything that made me smile. Whenever times were a little harder than normal,I'd reach for one of the angels and remember how it made me feel. I have found that if you count on anyone or anything to "make" you happy, you're going to be sad a lot.

I do know this. That you cannot be happy if you're in over your head with owing money for things you want, but really don't need. You are happiest with a lot less for in the end, it is all useless to everyone, including yourself. Happiness comes from within and from above. Happiness comes from being really free.

Financial independence. Yeah yeah I know, money can't buy happiness. That's what every single rich person has said, I can assure anyone that if you can afford to pay the rent, drive a dependable car and have some healthcare , you are going to be a hell of a lot happier.

Nice video..Happiness is being content in your life.

People who have lots of money can be unhappy because it is all just material things to them. They have no feelings or compassion.

So I am happy and content right now.

Yes, happiness for me is living consciously. Taking responsibility for everything in my life. Living holistically. Money is very important so is air & feeling fulfilled & comfortable. Money is energy & when someone is lacking in money they have cut themselves off the same as someone who is not breathing well. I guess a person could hold their breathe & be happy but I would think they would be happier taking in the fullness of life.

I don't see where comparing myself with others has anything to do with my happiness. This is for people who have been brought up to believe that sports matter & in a dualistic philosophy such as one where there is a God vs. the devil. Many people are not competing with others but living their life in co-operation with others so your video only applies to those that believe life is a rat race.

I am fortunated enough to belong to a spiritual center that sees the Christ consciousness as one that is all about loving thy neighbor as thyself because we are really all one. This doesn't mean that the person out there is in need of your care it means that what you see, what you attract into your life is there as a reflection of you. So when you hate your neighbor you are actually doing that cause you hate yourself.

Happiness is loving yourself completely. When you do you love everyone else completely, unconditionally & all is well.

While you're enjoying your sweet, candy-colored, crepe-paper wisdom about how you shouldn't spend your money on frivolous things, notice who is bringing you that message: Their logo was only on the screen for about one and a half seconds, so you might have missed it: It's ING Bank, a Dutch financial conglomerate that is the twelfth most gigantic corporation in the world, with annual revenues of $77 Billion. Instead of spending your money on frivolous things you'd like, they're hoping you will turn your money over to them, so they can spend it on frivolous things they'd like.

P.S.--A few weeks ago ING Bank had to pay a fine of over one half Billion dollars to the United States Justice Department for violating banking laws in this country that included laundering billions of dollars for terrorists. But they want you to know that they are really nice people and they really really believe in being HAPPY!
